The New Generation Of At-Home Ear Care
I Threw Away My Cotton Swabs After Trying This Ear Cleaning Method
"Cotton swabs were all I knew for years. I had no idea there was another way to care for my ears at home.”
- Mary Grimes
1. Cotton Swabs Were My Routine… Until I Tried This
I used cotton swabs my whole life because that’s what I grew up with. But because I have smaller ear canals, cleaning was never that simple. When I was younger, my mother would sometimes take me for professional cleanings because it was difficult to properly do it at home.
That’s why I tried Earvit. Its water irrigation system with 3 pressure modes gave me much more control. I started with the lowest setting because I was nervous at first, but after 2–3 uses I felt comfortable switching to the third setting and noticed how much more effective it felt for me.
2. I Liked Knowing The Water Stayed Separate
I was honestly impressed by the two-tank design. Having one tank for clean water and another for collecting the used water made the whole process feel much more hygienic and trustworthy.
I liked knowing that the water stays separated throughout the use, and the fact that everything is collected in one place made cleaning up afterward much easier.
3. The Silicone Tips Made It Feel Much More Comfortable
With cotton swabs, I was always moving them around and trying to find the right position. The soft silicone tips on Earvit made the process feel much easier because they sit comfortably where they need to without constant adjusting.
I also liked that the tips can be cleaned and reused. Having multiple interchangeable tips in the set made it easier for everyone in my family to use the same device while keeping their own tip for better hygiene.
4. No More Disposable Supplies
I liked not having one more thing to add to my shopping list. I no longer had to keep track of how many cotton swabs were left or remember to buy another pack when they ran out.
With Earvit, I just keep the device at home and use it whenever I need it. The rechargeable battery lasts up to 6 weeks of occasional use on a single charge, and the cordless, waterproof design makes it easy to store in my bathroom and grab whenever I need it.
5. I Found Earvit Through A Friend
One of my friends is an ENT doctor, and he actually recommended that I try Earvit. We were talking about my ear-cleaning routine, and he mentioned that he uses a similar water-based approach instead of relying on cotton swabs.
He showed me Earvit and explained how it works, so I decided to give it a try. I later found it on sale and ordered one for myself.
After using it, I understood why he recommended it. The sale is still running, so I’d definitely check it out while it’s available.
